Nearly 1,000 perioperative nurses attended Medline’s 2nd annual breakfast forum. Award-winning actress Rue McClanahan filled the room with laughter as the keynote speaker. Janelle Hail, president of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) also spoke, reminding everyone that each day is a gift. In 2006, Medline provided the NBCF $100,000 to be given to hospitals and healthcare centers to provide free mammograms. We donated another $100,000 for the same reason in 2007.
